We are looking for a Claims Examiner or Senior Claims Examiner to join the Richmond team in managing end to end claims across various types of insurance including general liability, property, medical malpractice and professional indemnity claims.

About the Role

Reporting to our Group Claims Manager, the Claims Examiner or Senior Claims Examiner (depending on experience) is responsible for their own claim load supporting our SME clients with predominantly property and general liability claims.

Joining a stable and highly engaged team, you will be kept busy and motivated as you manage end to end claims and deliver technically competent support and advice to our stakeholders.

Following industry best practice and compliance requirements, you will enjoy contributing to a high performing team by continuously looking for ways to improve our offering and expand your knowledge.

About You

Legally qualified or not, we don't mind. We love that you're interested in the fine print and know have to manage general liability and property claims. Any medical malpractice and professional indemnity claims experience would be a bonus!

You have both a lot to give and a lot to learn and are eager to join a professional team that knows how to inspire each other every day. You're technically minded with great interpersonal and communication skills. With the ability to work to tight deadlines and a great appreciation for the role we play in what can often be a stressful time for others, you have sound judgement, great resilience and the ability to have challenging conversations.
